Blueberry - "I purchased “Blueberry” from Cathy of Goose Dogs for Sale. Blueberry is such a sweet Border Collie. She knows her geese-chasing commands very well. It is important to me that my dogs understand “lie down” as an immediate reaction command. Blueberry drops whenever she hears that command. She is constantly watching me on the job, looking intently in my eyes for the next command.
I liked working with Cathy for many reasons. Before I purchased Blueberry, she communicated with me constantly via text and cell calls. She sent videos and pictures constantly to show me any action/improvement in the dog. Whenever I called or texted her with any questions, she replied immediately and kept the conversation going until I was clear on the answer. Cathy matched the right dog with my needs. She will not sell a dog to someone unless they are a good match. Cathy delivered the dog to me to my home which is out-of-state. The dog was vet-checked, well-groomed and even came with a bag of items that she would need. (Her “overnight” bag.) Cathy introduced Blueberry to in-home living in her own home to make sure the dog was familiar with that kind of living arrangements. Even now, Cathy will answer my texts/calls immediately if I have any questions at all.
Cathy is very careful with each dog she is selling. The accommodations where the dogs stay are very nice, safe and comfortable. She cares about the dogs as if they were her own dogs.
The training is second-to-none that she gives the dogs. Such as, training the dog on Indian Runner ducks. She teaches them the directive skills of herding the ducks and makes sure they learn not to ever harm the ducks. The dogs are taught to swim after geese and to obey directions while swimming. The dogs are taught immediate recall. Her training is firm, but gentle with much positive reinforcement.
I highly recommend Cathy for anyone seeking a fully-trained and ready-for-action Border Collie to get rid of those pesky geese!"
